Paper & Tea HK (“P&T” or “we” or us”) invite you to review these terms and conditions (the “Agreement”) carefully, as they will apply to the use of this website and the purchase of all products sold to you through this website. By accessing, browsing, shopping and using the pages on this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, and you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age. This Agreement contains provisions that limit our liability. Your use of this website constitutes your consent to be bound by the terms of this Agreement as they are amended from time to time in our sole discretion. Accordingly, please review these Terms and Conditions periodically.

1. Use of the website

To register with paperandtea.hk and/or purchase goods from the website, you must ensure that the details provided on registration are correct and complete. P&T reserve the right to decline a new customer registration or suspend a customer’s account at any time and at our sole discretion, to terminate your access to all or part of the services, to discontinue the website or services, or any part thereof, at any time, with or without notice. Registration data and certain other information about you is subject to click “privacy policy. “

2. Pricing, description and product information

The prices quoted on this website apply only to products sold via this website. All product descriptions, details and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the information was entered onto the system. The information appears on this website at any time may not reflect the exact position at the moment you place an order.

3. Order & Payment

When you submit an order on this website, your order shall be considered as an offer to Oftea Limited. We reserve the right to refuse your order at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to: (i) the availability of the products in your country of origin or (ii) if the products are incorrectly described or priced on the webpage.

In the event that your order is cancelled or refused, you shall receive an email confirmation stating same. Additionally, if your order is refused or cancelled following payment, Oftea Limited will reimburse you for the full amount paid.

4. Delivery/Shipping information

We will ship based on the method you select from the available options. We currently deliver to addresses in Hong Kong and Macau. You are responsible for all applicable taxes as well as compliance with applicable customs and export regulations.

You will receive your order within 2-3 business days, excluding Sundays and other public holidays. During peak periods such as before Christmas and Chinese New Year, please allow extra time for your order to reach its destination. If your order requires same-day delivery, an additional fee will be charged. Our customer service team will contact you shortly after your order confirmation.

Ownership and risk of loss of the item(s) you order will pass to you once we have transferred the items to the third party shipping provider. However, if you have not received your order within 7 days, please contact us via email and we will try to assist you in tracking your order.

We may be able to ship to other countries in SE Asia or can put you in touch with a local Paper and Tea distributor in your country. If you are located outside of Hong Kong and Macau, please contact us at [email protected] for information on shipping to your country or for local contacts.

5. Packaging of Parcels

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact. All Paper and Tea packaging materials are biodegradable and we reuse our carton boxes as much as possible. If you wish to have your order packed in a new box (and with a special note card), just leave us a comment before checkout.

6. Cancellations and returns

We do not accept cancellations or returns of order once confirmed check out unless (1) we send wrong items (2) Items are found not sealed being opened.

If any of above happened, you will receive a full refund including the original postage and packaging for the order if the charge was levied with your original order and it is returned in full. If your order has already been dispatched please refer to our returns information. Return delivery charges will only be refunded in the event of faulty, damaged or incorrect items being sent to you. This does not affect your statutory rights. Other than for defective products, returns outside the timeframe set out above may be accepted at the sole discretion.

7. Refunds and exchanges

All refunds will be made to the payment (either credit card or bank transfer) on which the original purchase was made, within 14 days of the cancellation of the order or return of the goods.

8. Promotions and discounts

In order for a promotion or offer to be applied to your order, a valid promotion code must be entered into the promotion code box on the shopping cart page prior to checkout. Oftea Limited Paper and tea Hk reserves the right to either revise and/or remove promotions or discounts.

9. Website changes and update

In order to keep our website as accurate and as up to date as reasonably possible, it may be necessary to restrict access to the site in order to undertake necessary maintenance work. We will ensure that any down time or restricted access is kept to a minimum.

10. Intellectual property and copyright

Unless otherwise noted, the content of the website is protected by copyright, trademarks, database and other intellectual property rights owned by Paper and Tea. You may not reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or content on the website without written permission.

11. No Warranty & Limitations of liability

This website and any software are provided on an “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Use of this website and its contents are at the user’s sole risk and P&T does not guarantee that use of the website will be uninterrupted or error free, that this website or its server will be free of viruses or other harmful components, or that defects will be corrected even if P&T is aware of them.

In no circumstance will P&T be liable for any damages, losses or expenses of any kind, including, without limitation, special, incidental or consequential damages, losses or expenses arising in relation with this site or use thereof or inability to use by any party, or in connection with any failure or performance, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, or online system failure.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Oftea Limited Paper and Tea (Hong Kong) harmless from and against any liabilities, claims and settlement that arise out of the content you submit, post or transmit via the website, or from your use/misuse of the website, or the use/misuse by any person for whom you are responsible or from your violation of the terms and conditions.

13. Prevailing Language

In the event of any discrepancy in the translation of this text, the English version shall prevail.

14. Governing law

This Agreement and the contract between you and Oftea Limited under which you make your purchases shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). The HKSAR courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
